Any updates on this issue? I am just checking in again from time to time (roughly once a month), to make sure it is not forgotten - no worries, if you have still been busy.

Just to keep the thread updated. The new version 7.0.2.250621 does not appear to solve this issue fully - there are still some channels which get their EPG information from a different channel, i. e. you will have German channels with Italian EPG information, as described here:

You may not have tick the new option "Use Strict TSID/ONID" on the Settings->Guide gear on the DVB/ATSC EPG row.

Hi Martin, cheers, with the "Use Strict TSID/ONID" option, the issue of wrong EPG information associated with some channels appears to have disappeared. I will have to monitor the situation to see, whether there were any other effects (maybe the number of days, for which there is EPG information available was reduced?), but other than that this looks good! Thank you and sub for your help!

Great.
The default is to have this unticked, giving the same behaviour as the past... a lot of the world depends on this behaviour to allow you to get quick epg updates, giving all listings with only a single frequency enabled. At least you have an option now to get it to behave correctly for specific your local broadcasts. |
