When you killed the task did you check CPU and how long did you wait? You were creating two recordings with thumbnails, timing files and comskip, plus Kodi and your open browser calling the API with the recording updates so it could just be busy.

When it crashed the screen was black for a good 30 seconds, when I moved the mouse and clicked a error box showed up saying nextpvr client has closed. This new build is so fast I do not think it was busy, but I did not look at the task manger.

Just bad luck having to use the new one before I felt it was ready to be the main box.

To be fair you are the only one reporting issues like this with NextPVR.exe right now, so it could be a local issue. Maybe try another client like Kodi or yauiclient if you use a remote.

Well I have been home more the last few days, so maybe the DLL's have helped some. Kay can use Kodi for movies and TV shows on the NAS but can't get the hang of usiing it for TV. She is 74 and has cancer so she gets a break for being so used to SUB's client. SO you think it will still be worth getting logs and more info on crashes?

As I posted your last logs where quite different from your other errors or other posted logs so certainly continuing logs could help to pinpoint any issue. A sample size of one is pretty hard to work with.

If she uses yauiclient it has sub's NextPVR UI, it just is a bit finicky if you use a mouse.

She uses the silver hauppauge remote. I put the yauiclient on my laptop looks just like the Nextpvr UI this might work! looking at the wiki all keys/remote codes are the same? I will try to figure out how to install along side nextpvr on the main box with the remote working.

I tried to keep all the keys the same, however UI clients don't support FF/RW just skipping. Sub implemented thumbnail skipping as a modern day replacement, which many people like. Since you use comskip that might not be that important.

It might still be better to get more information on what might be going wrong with NextPVR.exe

Well she hit the UI pretty hard yesterday and no crashes. So the first time since I swapped computers for that.
