Appreciate the reply and your perspective on the situation.
I'd say I'm probably a part of a very small portion of users/hobbyists that would go through the trouble of setting up a server to record OTA broadcast and scripting EPG updates.

Just wanting to save money anywhere possible. Oh well one more subscription on the pile.

I'll mention again for those that have an HD Homerun, this method works perfectly for me and is able to grab epg data for 14 days. Been using it the past month without issue. The directions are very easy to follow and set up. Hope someone finds this usefull.

It looks like zap2xml.pl at https://github.com/jef/zap2xml/blob/main/zap2xml.pl should be ok for now. It has the 3 patches added over the last couple of months for those we like to pay cat & mouse.

Seems completely broken now and even that very useful URL in post #1 fails which is kind of my worst case scenario. I used it to help the community. Hopefully you have been heeding my warnings and have been transitioning to Schedules Direct so only a small number of you are impacted.

The API is still running for newsnation so maybe someone will figure something out. Until then please turning off your scripts no point in showing gracenote your user IDs.
