Sub-Title word wrap

Small issue.

If the Subtitle length in the EPG is longer than a certain length, the subtitle doesn't get word wrapped and heads off beyond the box area.
This happens on multiple screens which would show the subtitle.

Something looks wrong there since that long text should be in the description not the subtitle.  Since OTA EPG doesn't even define a sub title NextpVR parses the title and description. It looks like sub would need a full mux of the frequency or the DVB-S freesat EPG to figure out why the parsing is not working as expected.

Note with good Schedules Direct data that does define a sub title that show is fine.

Interestingly, EPG Collector also puts the offending details in the Subtitle field.

Thanks I think I can figure out what causes that. NextPVR and EPG Collector probably use the colon to break the description into the sub title and description.

Here it doesn't make sense

If I was coding a "fix" rather than truncating the sub-title if the sub-title is too long I would leave it in the description. However that doesn't work for all case which is the trouble with parsing. This would work checking the case after the semi-colon but how far to take it?

I've found a few instances now where the description is ending up as a subtitle (with the text overflow from the box).
I appreciate it's difficult to code for all variations in the EPG given there's no absolute standard across all the channels (and indeed internationally).
Rather than trying to create a parsing fix for every possible scenario, I would be happy to at least mask the issue with a word wrap when it would overflow the box. There is usually room for that in the box

The API is used by more than NextPVR.exe and UI clients. Kodi scrolls long text but that gets tiring and the the subtitle is usually truncated not wrapped. Plus you only showed one skin you'd like changed. Screens like the main EPG grid, searches and upcoming and completed recordings all are based on subtitles being short and they would probably need to be truncated not wrapped too to fit the skin.

This may/may not be useful to your thread, if I use Nextpvr.exe on my Win10 PC I see the same as @Bobins, however if I use NextPVR UI client I see the same as @Mvallevand
Web app is OK on both devices. EPG is UK Freeview OTA.

That example won't have a parsed sub-title. You have to search out an episode with a colon in the description , like his "Richard Osman's House of Games: Champions" example or some of the Such Brave Girls examples.

I appreciate it would need a change to 2 or 3 skin files. As I've modded skin files in the past, I did try adding a wrap="true" to the subtitle line in the relevant skin file but it had no effect. (The wrap does work on lines like description).
I had hoped adding the wrap="true" would have been an easy fix.
