Recurring recordings title match question

My other half complained that a number of her recurring recordings weren't getting scheduled.

Investigation showed the reason was the show Titles did not match the recurring schedule (although time/date did match.)

e.g. Title shows "Bargain Hunt" in Recurring recordings but EPG shows "Bargain Hunt: Celebrity Special". 

I know there's a config setting RecurringMatch>Exact</RecurringMatch that I understood could be changed to "try" to match the titles if similar ones are found however what should "Exact" be replaced with?

Couldn't find a reference to the replacement value in the Wiki or via Forum search.

Set the way NextPVR will match the titles of the show when processing season recordings.

Match Exact Title will only record the show if the title exactly matches. For example, setting a season recording for "Match of The Day" will not result in "Match of The Day Two" being recorded.

Match Start Of Title will only record the show if the start of the title matches. For example, setting a season recording for "The Best TV Show" will cause "The Best TV Show : Part 2" "The Best TV Show : Part 3" to also be recorded.

I'm sure if you ask sub will give your permission to update the active NextPVR wiki.

Thanks Martin, a trip down memory lane to V4  

The references in the archive confirm the functionality is the one I want. Unfortunately it doesn't tell me what is the correct word to put instead of "Exact" in the middle of the xml element and I've not seen a settings option that would avoid me changing it manually.

Perhaps Sub can advise.

You are right this changed in V5 those v4 settings are dead. I did try with "Start of Title" and it worked.

The options are "Exact" or anything else.

If has Exact, then the name must match exactly. Otherwise it'll match the start of the string, and ignore any other characters following. You can put "Start" or whatever suits.
