@mvallevand I could try to test it (when you mean that it "is not easy to test" you mean it is difficult to reproduce the issue I have or that that the test itself is difficult to implement?). Yes I have an amd64 architecture pc, to be more precise an Intel Core i7 4702 running Ubuntu 24.04 (64bit).

It is not easy for sub and I to test with our native broadcast that don't need the feature. Sub or I will let you when he builds a beta release. Thanks for the offer.

OK sub posted the beta Linux arm64 build so what you need to do is

Code:
#stop the server
sudo service nextpvr-server stop
#backup your system program folder
sudo mv /opt/nextpvr/system  /opt/nextpvr/system702
# zip up your configuration in case you need to repeat a test.
zip ~/npvrdata /var/opt/nextpvr/npvr.db3 /var/opt/nextpvr/config.xml
# install the beta
sudo nextbuild=beta dpkg -i nextpvr-helper.deb

Once installed you need to rescan to get the new filter information. If you don't care about redoing your recordings just hit the trash can and delete all the channel on each of your tuners.

If you do want to keep the scheduled recordings it will only work if you have merged tuners. If you do I can walk you through that.

If it doesn't work as expected when strict mapping is enabled could you do another scan with verbose logging enabled. (ctrl click the log button)

Presumably you meant the amd64 build, not the arm64 one (I don't have an ARM machine). I will run the test over the next days, presumably this weekend.
Thank you very much for your help!

Ok, installed the beta version 7.0.3.250909 as described.

Now, no EPG information at all is loaded for the previously mentioned channels (e.g.,  RAS Das Erste HD, RAS ORF2T HD, RAS arte HD, RAS 3sat HD). The verbose logs are attached.

Ok thanks.  I see something that should be impossible here unless the frequency needs to be part of the key.  I think you need a new DeviceHostLinux,

Code:
2025-09-14 22:05:35.616    [DEBUG][27]    <epg>
  <source>DVB/ATSC EPG</source>
  <capture_source>21</capture_source>
  <readable_source>22:10252:8572 Warner TV</readable_source>
  <mapping>22:10252:8572</mapping>
</epg>

Is this something I can do, or is that something that requires another update on NextPVR? As mentioned before, Warner TV was one of the channels getting EPG information from one of the German channels: https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid602559
Does the above log file explain that behaviour?

When you have time zip can you try the full rescan again with the attached.  It goes in /opt/nextpvr/system/DeviceHost/x64 You may need to chmod +x if your zip doesn't copy it.

I have unzipped that file and replaced it with the one I had. Now no channels are found anymore, when doing a scan (so I do not even attempt to look for the EPG information, since there are no more channels to find EPG for).
