skin mod help with status text and time indicator arrows

Hi all,

I have been making some custom mods to the MountainLake skin and have everything done except ....

The verbiage for the status (selection description). I want to change things like the description for Recordings says "View programmes you have recorded. Browse or remove future scheduled recprdings" ... Where do i cahnge this? I think it is in the main program somewhere, not the skins.

The other thing I want to chage is the color of the time indicator arrows on the TV Guide. The little arrow indicators that show approximate current time on the grid. Where can i edit the settings for these?

You could use the language.xml file to change this.

This is not skinnable at this stage.

No immediate plans, but maybe in a future release.

Hi Sub,

I tried "You could use the language.xml file to change this." and it changed the text on the button. I want to change the description that it displayed at the bottom of the screen when the button is highlighted. I don't want to change the text name of the buttons.

You can also use the same approach to change description to something else. People use this approach for converting it to other languages, so you should have no problems changing the wording slightly.

Well, I am not that familiar with XML, could you show a quick example of how to chage the desription? Would it still go in the language.xml file?
