Enabling closed captioning and mute settings in the browser which was requested here is different then DVB subtitles and teletext, I don't see the web client setting any cookie being set so for CCs though so the answer is probably no. There are other issues with CC's in the web browser if you have h/w decoding enabled.
For recordings the embedded subtitles are already stored with the recording unless you are talking about some IPTV streams that might use webVTT which NextPVR doesn't support.
