Hello,

I admit my search skills suck as of late but I tried to look for this and didn't find it.  I have an old installation that has just rolled forward over the years. I think it still is my first one from the GBPVR days back when it had it's own special output to the WinTV output. (that was magical!)

The issue I have today is that some reoccurring recordings are duplicated.  If I look at my recurring list, I don't see duplicates but some shows record 3, I think even 4 times.  They don't all start at the same time either, maybe a few minutes after one another.

In the example in the pictures there are actually 10 of these.  All the listings save for 1 says Conflict alternate recoding.

What can I do about this?
Thank you.

Do you have avoid duplicates set on the main page? When I see something like this E:\TV Recording\Recording\Lazarus\Lazarus.S01E12.Close.to.the.Edge-14.ts that looks like the 14th version of the recording.

Also do you your HDPVR merged with the HDHR? You probably should update to the patch I talk about in para. 2 here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid604726

I don't know about the avoid dupes settings. I know that usually when I ask a show to be recorded I say all episodes on that channel.  Sometimes, rarely now, channel changes may not be correct, or my TV system may do alerts you have to dismiss, etc.  I'll take duplicate recordings but when It's when they kick off at the same time or a few minutes later that I don't get why that isn't just one recording.  Regular show and Steven Universe in the logs would show that.  In this screen shot shows what I'm talking about as well as Ask This Old House.  I have an odd setup right now, I'm testing some devices (actually those cheap USB HDMI recorders are solid when done via OBS, though I cannot get good results via ffmpeg directly) and one tuner that records in NextPVR will change both boxes, but I control a second box that isn't in the system.  So when it records and I'm watching, it'll flip to what's recording.  I knew I had dup recordings but never paid attention to the time until one day I was listening to a show while working but had to constantly keep re-changing the channel as every few moments it would change back to what was to be recording.  That's when later I looked at the list and saw I had multiple copies of the episode all to have been done at the same day and time.

So for S23E04, most of them are on 10/21/2025, all starting at the same time, but they have different sizes, leading me to believe they didn't all start at the exact tame time. The ones that are on the 18, well one of them, and the 19th I can understand.

I did just upgrade to 7.0.3.250920, I'll see about getting that patch in there tomorrow.  Oh, not to skip the HDHR, I don't think I have any channels with it mapped right now. Also sorry, I see my first two example pictures never made it.

You didn't need to post that I did see the issue and figure that is one reason for the patch. Maybe look at the main settings page to look for the avoid duplicate checkbox.

Sorry, was looking at the literal page you land at in settings, not the general page, and I thought there was something on each recording.
I have avoid duplicates on now. I'll do the patch tomorrow when there is less scheduled that I care about.

Thanks again!

OK good to know it was off. Since your recording are already set you would need to run an EPG update to redo them and hopefully eliminate the duplicates even without the patch
