Can someone help? I have been trying to fix npvr for some time now. My xmltv file download link is in settings/guide as required. This used to produce a guide for Kodi and npvr. However, since the xmltv files have gone to a 5 digit format, it seems that I can change the guide to xmltv in Settings/channels, but no mapping is produced. How do I fix this? Thanks. Logs attached. Forgive me, as I am a first time poster.

I don't understand this error unless the batch file itself is corrupt or missing.

Code:

NPVR has always downloaded the file from my xmltv account. How can I see if this is happening? Where would I look to find the downloaded guide information? I checked the npvr/data folder, but was unsure what to look for.

I would start by look for this file C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\scripts\UpdateEPG.bat (which exists) and trying to figure out what you did to it or what is blocking it from running.

Martin, I just checked the .bat file you requested I look into. The file is empty. How can I fix this please?

You need to reenter whatever you had in there before it is not a NextPVR file.

I thank you for your help, but I still do not understand. I add the URL to NPVR as needed to download the file. This is all that I have ever had to do. I have no idea how the .db file could come up missing, or how to replace it if it is not part of NPVR. I apologize for not being technically savvy, but I am trying my best. I have tried to use the XMLTV grabber, but I do not have the understanding of command line to succeed. Is the grabber what is needed to replace the .db file? Where can I get the script to force NPVR to download the .db file? Is there a wiki that would show me the proper procedure to do so?

Doesn't matter this corrupt file is causing a problem. If you don't need it delete it.
