My Pictures 3.0.1 beta fix

hey i want a few people to check this out, it attempts to fix the little issues in 3.0.0.0

i added
- PIN numbers (for folders/drives etc, not images or webimages, and not on delete yet)
- MasterPlaylist, which will start playing when ever you enter slideshow/random (if set)
- can reconfigure the popup menu (so can remove "delete" if you dont want it)

fixed
- a few bugs, forgotten which.
- includes the OnscreenKeyboard and Keypad skin folders for the blue skin (the ones used in the latest my vids plugin, i hope they work.....)

i cant remember if i changed any other parts of the skin, i hope i didnt (memory starts to go in your old age).

and no nothing new on the MVP front (so dont ask).

Tried the beta this morning. It was a no go i'm afraid. It wanted to load but i get this error in the log.

I hope it gives you a clue to the problem. what i did notice is it seems to be looking for a "OnScreenKeyboard.xml" that doesn't exist on my system anywhere.

Got a chance to install a while ago. Much better, no more error messages or weird log entries. I have two problems left, one is self induced, the other not.

First the self induced one. playing with the buttons and controls i set a pin number before i realized what i was doing, how do i get that back out of there and set to none? sorry about that!

The other, i see the playlists in the driectory, but nothing plays. either manually using the pop up screen or automaticly. I checked in music library and they play there. I don't see anything odd in the logs, is there somewhere i could look for a clue?

I'm thinking I could do it but It will take some time. I haven't a lot that's free lately. As long as that doesn't bother anyone.

theres a <MasterPIN> attribute in the config.xml file under /pluginsettings/myseries, just delete that tag and it will reset.

the only thign i can think of are the m3u playlists are using relative names or the filenames dont exist. it could be something in my pics ill look at the code (too much copying and pasting, it leads to missing things )

anyone else notice any bugs? things i havent mentioned are fixed that were buggy in 3.0.0.0 ? the popup menu works now? it can be reconfigured/ordered? animated gifs work? you guys can pin protect all your homemade porno now? random shows a pretty please wait message when building a list? can click the cancel button when building that list? any really bad skin things i(or someone else) should bother fixing?


as is if theres no bugs the only thing i need to change (well add) is the "PIN on Delete" function.

Is there a problem with the download? Tried it a number of times but it say's it doesn't appear to be a valid archive when I try opening it. I can download and open other zip files ok...

I got the pin number out, thanks for the tip! Playlists are still not playing, either manually or automatically using the master playlist option.

You asked about bugs noticed. In the config under settings/playlist it won't let you change the default playlist directory of C:\. i changed it in the config.xml file so not a bit deal. you did ask
