Hi folks,

Just upgraded to version 7.1.0.260607 which fails to find any sat>ip channels from my Triax TSS400.  The log file shows a problem with paths.
I have included the log file which also contains an updated '1600 KoreaSat6 FTA (160.0E).ini' which reflects the updates made to freeview NZ satellite in the last week or so!
Please let me know if I can provide any further information

Kind regards, Stephen

Basically don't update LibreELEC manually unless you are sure it will work and wait for updates.

Perhaps go to /storage/.kodi/addons/service.nextpvr/nextpvr-bin/DeviceHost/arm64 and chmod +x DeviceHostLinux

Thinking about my post even if DeviceHostLinx fails that doesn't explain why your SAT>IP doesn't work. Sub will need to lock at the logs.

This should definitely not have been posted in the Kodi sub-forum nothing Kodi related at all.

Martin.

There is definitely something wrong with the arm64/DeviceHostLinux file in the current build. It'll probably be tomorrow before I can look at it. However, that is not related to your problem, so you can ignore that error in the logs.

It certainly looks like it's finding channels. Are they not showing up in the results?

Does it make any difference if you try it from an incognito browser? (I'm curious about cached versions of the pages)

I originally thought it was the creation of a common scanning class but he ran ok in beta 7.0.6 after the split https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid607862

The key is this xml

Code:
<services>
</services>

Also he added a frequency to the scan file since it seems different to the release version perhaps the source ini is missing something.

The root cause of the problem has been located so there should be a patch or update soon. Did the chgmod +x solve the problem with DeviceHostLinux?

Hi Martin,
Making DeviceHostLinux executable had no effect on the problem.

To zero in a bit, I set up the beta version (V6) and scanned the freeviewnz channels one one receiver of the TSS400 which worked perfectly.
I then upgraded to v7.0 and scanned using another receiver on the TSS400.
This iterated through each transponder finding [PAT] [PMT] [SDT] [BAT] and completing with a '0 channels found' message.
After the scan ended, there was no collection of channels produced.

The channels found from the previous scan with the V6 beta version continued to work properly, although I didn't try rescanning.

The transponder details that I used for the .ini come from https://www.lyngsat.com/Koreasat-6.html which I have always found reliable. I used these details to do the V6 scan which worked perfectly.

Hope the above provides some further clarity on the problem.
Happy to provide further information if required or to do any further testing.

Kind regards, Stephen

It wasn't meant to fix the scan problem that would be just make it executable. An update will be out soon.

Why did you add a frequency to the file, Lyngsat does show anything there. It could impact LCN detection.

Hi Martin,
Many thanks for the update and I look forward to the new version.
I checked https://www.lyngsat.com/Koreasat-6.html which shows an unencrypted Sky Open HD channel on 12410H which is why I added it.

There were a number of changes made to the FreeviewNZ satellite transponder configuration on June 3. You can find a brief summary at https://digitalrv.co.nz/about-us/news-2/

For Freeview compatible boxes any configuration changes are propagated via the Bouquet Association Table (BAT) table which causes channel reconfigs to happen automatically for those boxes.

Kind regards, Stephen

I do understand bouquets and even have preliminary support from a NZ and I was waiting to see if the bouquet support found any new channels on 12530.

I do see that change now https://www.lyngsat.com/tvchannels/nz/Sky-Open.html but it looks like they just added it after I looked.
