i had the same problem and got it using winrar. extracted the file in there and then changed the name of it to a zip extension and then i was able to unzip normally.

Playlists are still not playing, either manually or automatically using the master playlist option.

post the .m3u playlist you are using. and the location where it is stored on your disk. try making a .m3u playlist in the my music plugin and using that and see if it works. they work fine on my machine (am using absolute filenames in the m3u playlists thou).

You asked about bugs noticed. In the config under settings/playlist it won't let you change the default playlist directory of C:\. i changed it in the config.xml file so not a bit deal. you did ask

as to the zip issue, its not the attachment, its probably the browser you are using (corrupted via download, something to do with the new forum host, a few people have noticed this). the zip file itself is fine.

Here's a simpet of the m3u playlist. It's physically at
E:\Main\New Age\Windham Hill\Guitar Sampler\
Can you show me an example of what works on your system? I tried using the fill path in the M3U file here but then it fails. I saved it with windows media player 10 and it works fine on the PC if i just double click it. It also plays fine if i use the music library in GBpvr. I can download and try it in my music if that's a different format.

my playlists are just multiline txt files with the full music file path on each line eg

the problem with relative names, eg if it looked like this

is that if you move the m3u playlist, they no longer work. but even so ill look into fixing this little bug (that playlist should work in "my music" as is, as long as the m3u hasnt been moved since you saved it).
but absolute are nicer (less chance of a f**k up).

Thanks for the response, but as I said I've tried downloading several times, and also from different machines, all running IE, so I doubt that it's a client issue. Thought it worth pointing out as I'm obviously not the only one.

I found out something weird. I downloaded and installed my music. It plays my current playlists just fine. My pictures won't. I made a playlist in my music and my pictures was able to play that just fine as well. go figure! I guess not all m3u playlists are the same format.

yeah i didnt copy the code from my music into my pics to load the playlist. my music also will try the relative filename from the dir the playlist is in when loading it. my pics just tries the absolute filename, so yeah its a little, well not bug, but yeah i will fix it.

Excellent, thank you! I was a real fan of version 2 and with the fixes your working on version 3 promises to be even better.

That may be your problem - I think I have yet to hear about someone getting a problem who is using a different browser - it only seems to affect IE users.
