Just adding a tip for anyone trying to get subtitles for YouTube-sourced videos in a media setup like NextPVR: YouTube's caption tracks can be downloaded and saved as a standard SRT file, which most players pick up automatically when the file sits next to the video with a matching name. For the YouTube side of things, a free no-signup web tool can grab the SRT, VTT or TXT straight from the video URL — just paste the link into this free YouTube subtitle downloader and download the format you need. Drop the .srt alongside the video file and you should be sorted.
