Weather plugin hangs retrieving forcast info

I'm having trouble getting the weather plug in to work. I've done a fresh install and only added the weather plugin. After configuring with my zipcode and running gbpvr, clicking on the weather button, I get the message window about getting weather info from msn. It never completes. I get these errors in the gbpvr log file...

I am getting the same thing as you and it has always been working. I wouldn't spend too much time on it until Jeff (I think he was the author) gets back to you. It looks like maybe msn changed something at their end.

Thanks humpty. I had it working before too. I thought it may have been related to all the different skins and plugins I've been trying lately so I did a fresh install and still had the problem. I'll sit tight.

The download says that it is invalid or corrupt with XP uncompress.

Jeff... I got it unzipped using winRAR. But there is only one file in there with no extension. What do I do with this file?

Add .zip to the extracted file and unzip as usual.
