How about the ability to have one button on the remote toggle between devices to control?

So for instace you have 2 MediaMVP's in different rooms. This would alow you to contol the one in the other room.

Or, in my case, (with another feature request) I would like to have my IR extender in the room with the DSM-320 and the repeater in the room with my MediaMVP.

Now, since the DSM-320 doesn't currently have the facilities to transmit it's remote input to GBPVR, I could use the MVP's remote. Then with just a little more code, GBPVR could just send the Menu images and media files to the DSM-320, and wouldn't have to transcode the media formats it supports like xvid/divX, MP4, WMA etc.

Here is another Example:

Assign a button to toggle between controled devices on the remote.
Perhaps have an icon in the corner of the screen of all the devices shows which one is being controled for a few seconds after the select button is pressed.

Now some Senarios:
2 MediaMVP's in the same room. Obviously the remote would be seen by both so the IR receiver on one is blocked. This would allow you to control both through the MVP that doesn't have the IR receiver blocked.
Now the TV's Picture-in-Picture works.

My other Idea was this: If just a simple UPNP/AV was implimented.
MediaMVP in one room with an IR Extender (Transmitter) aimed at it.
DSM-320 in a different room with an IR Extender (Receiver) near it.

Since the DSM-320 doesn't curently support sending remote control events, we use the hauppauge remote to control it by aiming it at the extender which transmits the remote to the extender in the room with the MediaMVP. The MediaMVP transmits what it receives to GBPVR. GBPVR then decides which device is currently being controled by the remote. It could be the same MVP, Could be the Computer Screen, or a different device like the DSM.

Now with one remote, one IR Receiver (in the MVP) you can control all the devices in the house.
