DVB EPG UK Freeview Help

Hi,

I would like to receive EPG info with the DVB EPG grabber and UK Freeview. I can only use BDAScanType=2 in config file to scan for all channels successfully using a Hauppauge NOVA-T USB 2 device. Has anyone been able to download EPG data in the UK using this device rather than XMLTV. The relevant log entry when scanning using BDAScanType=1 after a successful scan with BDAScanType=2 proceeds:

AMD Sempron 3100
Windows Server 2003 with wmvcore2.dll and sbe.dll registered
Hauppauge Nova-T USB2 using 2.2 drivers
Cyberlink Muxer and Codecs registered

I am using the DVB EPG with my Nova-T USB2 and it works great. I use ScanType 1 and seem to remember Sub saying that it won't work if you have to change it to 2.

What specific card are you using?
If its the Hauppauge Nova-t USB2 what drivers are you using?

I think I should have bought a Nebula:eek: :eek: :eek:

It is the USB2 and works perfectly with GBPVR. My drivers are dated 31/01/2005 and version 1.0.12.23031.

Yours must be the 2.1 version as mine are stated as 1.0.12.23189.
They definately changed (improved) some things with the 2.2 release and made it incompatible with BDAScanType=1. However, I feel its unnecessary to go back to previous version, so I'll sit it out for now.
