Hi all,
I'm trying and failing to get Rectracker to work properly.
I'm only using RecTracker, not CDK Scheduler, X record or anything else mentioned in the forums.
Rectracker installed ok, relevant lines added to postprocessing.bat and my updateepg script. RecTracker database created ok.
However, duplicates are still being recorded. In the UK, certain channels show the same episode of a show twice a day, so more people can watch it. However, occasionally they will show different episodes on the same day. Hence the need for rectracker to stop duplicate recordings, without missing new episodes.
Firstly, does rectracker allow the GBPVR to record the show, then delete it? Or does it remove the recording from the schedule before the recording happens?
Second, why am I getting two copies of the same episode of a show?
I'm using XMLTV as my epg source.
The contents of my rectracker.log are below. What are subtitles and do I need to change my settings to ensure I get subtitles?
Thanks for any help anyone can give.
Simon
