After a TV show is recorded, it doesn't seem to place a record under the Recordings (not in Whats New nor Ready). The show is being recorded (I can browse to the show from the Video Library in GBPVR. It looks as though ComSkip is working fine because I can watch through the Video Library and the commercials are detected.

I tried a Compact and Repair operation from with MS Access. Still not working.

Let me know what information I can provide to help you diagnose this issue.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

I have been having the same issue on and off. It seems to be more of an issue when I record multiply shows at the same time but that is just a guess.

do the logs indicate that the recording has been successful (or not)?

How are you running comskip, realtime or after recording has finished?

Do you use renamer?

During padding, I find the show's are somewhere in void. I can watch them from Live-TV but not cancel them...

Yes I see the recordings in the logs and can watch them if I just use the My Video plugin. I do also use the Renamer so maybe after being renamed they are getting lost?

Yes...You'd find that the name of the file is changed, but not in the database file.

I never found a fix, so I just stopped using it. It was only there so I could be saved renaming files if I wanted to reencode them for saving. It's just as easy to manually change those myself.

Contents of my postprocessing.bat file:
comskip %1
renamerecording %1

From GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log:

What is interesting is that I find 2 records in the GBPVR.mdb table programme but no matching records in the recording_schedule table.

Does is seem to be everyone's consensus that I should remove the renamerecording reference in postprocessing.bat?

Best way to find out is take it out and see. If you lose the next recording still, just put it back. I think just putting "REM" in front of the line will just remark it out so you don't have to delete it.

I commented out (REM) the renamerecording argument in the postprocessing.bat file and the recording seems to have been entered into the database fine.

Thanks to everyone for their comments.
