I was going to add a request for this here and found this thread. I have CodeMonkey's old plugin installed and working with YAC, although it has problems (read them as known issues in various threads.) I just want to add my "vote" for this plugin. I'd love it to keep working with YAC as I have several computers activing as listeners and my PVR box acting as the "server" since it's almost never off.
I have been using the Caller ID program for some time now with mixed results, but I think it is more to do with how xp handles tool tips/ bubble notifications (or whatever they are called). I have my faxmodem and YAC server sited on another PC on my network, and I think the occasions where no notification appears in GBPVR is actually due to a bottleneck in this machine; this is what I think is happening:
The Telco transmits the CID after the first complete ring; YAC grabs the info and sends the notification to windows to display the popup; depending on what windows is doing it either displays it or queues it; the Caller ID plugin (which is a YAC listener) picks up the network broadcast and hands it to gbpvr; gbpvr then sends the OSD to my MVP, which displays it.
Sometimes this is on the second ring, sometimes it hasn't appeared by the 4th, 5th, 6th. I think the problem with the caller ID plugin is not the plugin itself, but the delay in the setup. Does this make sense? Anyone else have a better experience?

For me, it hits the screen almost always between the 1st and 2nd ring, probably because my GBPVR is also my YAC server (it only has to forward the info to localhost.)
My only trouble is with Live TV, when the OSD pops up it is entirely white. No background shading, so it's hard/impossible to read depending what's on screen at the time.
