Hi,

I have just bought the above card and have naturally ditched the included software for this impressive software...

Unfortunatly I am having problems watching live tv..

I have disabled Enable Live Preview mode, but when I try to view the live stream the screen says

"Starting timeshift mode TV"

it then bombs out and displays -

"No tuners available to watch the selected channel. You can choose to watch one of the currently recorded programmes"

Thanks in advance for your support

Can you post the output of mux checker? Your logs seem to contain some errors which I think relates to the Microsoft DVR-MS mux, and I wanted to see if using another mux would help the problem.

Actually, wait a minute...it looks like you're trying to watch a DVB radio station. GB-PVR does not currently support DVB radio. Remove the radio stations from your list of channels and I bet the problem goes away.

Thanks for your responses Sub,

I went into the plugins section & removed all menu items bar the live tv one and i still got the error...

I ran the mux checker app and got the following

NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE.

GB-PVR will not function correctly unless you have WinXP SP1 or higher, which has a built-in DVR-MS

Im guessing this has an effect on watching live tv? What should I do to fix this?

Thanks again.

This will effect recording or watching tv in timeshift mode.

If you're using live preview mode, then zip and attach you logs and I'll take another look.

Dont use the Hauppauge Mux, that one definitely wont work. Hauppauge will need to fix something before that works.

Can you post an example with the Cyberlink mux? All the attempts in your logs were using the Hauppauge mux.
