Support for Freecom USB DVB-TPlayer

Being new to this I can't figure out how new tuners etc get added.

I have just bought a Freecom USB DVB-T tuner and it's excellent except the software it comes with is quite basic, though it does the job.

Is support likely to be added for this card ?

If this device has BDA drivers available, then you should be able to get it work with GB-PVR. If not, then it wont work with GB-PVR.

I don't believe there are BDA drivers for this device.

Apparently Freecom are developing a driver with BDA support releasing it "december".
There is a thread here that suggests it can be used with alternate drivers, I'm going to try this for now:
