unforuntaly no. the sound problem is still here. everything seems to be working with everything else. (wintv and the such). i think i've narrowed it down to the way gbpvr starts live tv. that seems to be the only thing. (i've tried deleting everything in the irremote.ini file that has to do with sound, but nothing) i'm getting ready to call hauppauge to see if they have a solution (also about the rainbow effect on the new driver). but i'll have to wait and see.

just curious skkrumwiede, what motherboard/chipset are you using? i ask because i never had this problem with my last setup.

Nevermind, it seems to be the Windows-Mixer setting.

sub already retrieved this problem with the hauppauge-Remote and the Volume Control.

If your Volume is down, go to the Windows Mixer-Settings and raise the Volume for the WaveOut, then you'll have Audio till next start of GB-PVR

sub will resolve this problem in the next release.
