One thing. I just discovered that resume works on the MVP's but not on the computer hooked to the TV.

This happened to me once when I was messing about with the codecs (I changed codec to a newer one). The prompt came back once I changed the codec back to the original one. Have you switched codecs lately? In such case, try changing it to something else, at least just to rule out the possibility... I don't know what the problem was, though.

I find my "Prompt on resume" only works if I have "force minimal OSD" unchecked. Don't know if this applies to you or not, but worth checking.

Hey, that did it for me too! It had stopped working about 5 upgrades ago but I didn't bother. Just happened to see this post, unchecked the box and now it's back. What is the 'force minimal OSD' doing anyway? Never noticed any other difference.

If I have the box unchecked, I get full-on semi-transparent screen with program description for a few seconds every time I press any button during playback, pretty annoying for me. If I check the box I only get the OSD when I pause, which is much better. I think your mileage may vary depending on which decoder you use, whether you use VMR9 or overlay, etc.

Sub, thanks for fixing this, I look forward to getting resume back!

You all nailed this issue! All I had to do is search the forum and the disable minimal OSD trick worked!!!!!! FYI, I'm using version 94.13.
