Does anyone know of any plugins for gbpvr that will handle a low disk space situation. As it is now, If I forget to check it for a while, gbpvr will simply eat up all the disk space and crash the computer.!!! I was hoping someone knew of a plugin that would have gbpvr simply stop scheduling recordings after a set minimum hard drive space level?

I found a utility on the forums called recinfo. It runs as part of my postprocessing.bat and sends an e-mail after every recording. The notice includes details about the recording as well as some basic details about the system. It includes a line about how much remaining disk space you have.

Thanks guys, I'll try both of those.....I'm still kind of looking for something automatic though. Maybe like recinfo, except only send out an e-mail when it gets to a certain free space warning.

You could use disklimit.exe

add

disklimit.exe -disk g -limit 20gb -messagefile message.txt

to your postprocessing.bat

and it will send a mail when space is low.

As Erik mentioned: I made a little DOS-program that monitors diskspace and automatically sends an email when you're running out of space:

Check it out at: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=7585
