Hi,

I would like to use GB-PVR as a service using PVR-350 hardware only so another user can use same computer to browse internet or play games. I've succesfully installed and runned it as service with Firedaemon, but when it's a service I have no way to access the controls.

Is there any way Hauppauge IR-controller can have access to a service? It seems it works only if the GB-PVR window is visible and focused.

Another thing, why there is not Finland in direct record options? I've had lots of problems to tune channels... (Wintv and other PVR-software works fine) [Image: sad.gif]

If you shutdown the hauppauge remote program before starting, and the PVR350 tvout is enabled, then GB-PVR will try to directly using the Hauppauge remote. This means GB-PVR will not need focus etc. Give it a go.

I've added Finland for the next release. Sorry. [Image: biggrin.gif]  If anyone else wants other countries added, just let me know.

No, this approach doesnt work on the PVR150. The change the way the IR device works on this model. Its only applicable to PVR250/PVR350.

Keep searching the forums though, as there are a few options mentioned by other users in the past.
