Is there any way to have the music library display the file name and not the mp3 ID tag?

Anyone?

I have all my mp3's named: Artist-Date-Album-Track-Title and sorted in directorys by decade, IE 80s Rock, 80s Pop etc. There is probably 600+ files per directory.

I'd just like the file name displayed in alphabetical order. Using the tags, the list is just a jumbled mess and really slow to navigate.

Seems this would be a setting, am I missing something?

Sorry, no, there is no option to force it to show the name.

I have found that if there are no ID3 v1 tags it shows just the filename, which I would also prefer. Showing just the trackname doesn't help to know what order things are in. I prefer album order; luckily it normally sorts things that way. If you already have mp3s, though, reripping without v1 tags isn't really desirable.

Could you just add a switch that disabled tag reading?
