Tuning channels

I get nothing but static on all channels within Live TV. I can't seem to find any settings to tune these. I have had the same problem in anumber of other programs as well. I fear it is either a M$ issue or my drivers are just no good. The bundled software appears to be based on the Honestech Capture software and the card tunes just fine in that program.
Anyone had similar problems and overcame them?

I have read this thread before, unfortunately my brain starts thinking about ways to escape whenever I try to read the M$ documentation. I have gone the sage recorder route, but still haven't been able to tune in any channels.
The software bundled with the card works fine, it is the Honestech TV view and capture program and when I start up Regedit I can see the channels are sitting right there, defined in the Honestech registry settings. Is there any way to copy these over to the M$ TV settings?

The honestech registry settings may provide the information required to manually create the microsoft settings. What settings have you got?

I've just looked at those settings, but they looked a bit cryptic. Does the Honestech application show what frequencies are used for each channel?

No I'm afraid not. It's a very basic application. I have emailed you another picture perhaps this is more germane.

The second set of settings doesn't really help either I'm affraid.
