Hi,

Can this software co-exist with Microsoft Windows Media Center?
I would like to try this software but don't want to break my Media Center software.
Also, does this software work well with Bell ExpressVu

Thanks

Yes, but you need to stop some software components when you start GB-PVR, otherwise the capture card will already be inuse. I dont have MCE, and cant remember exactly what components they were.

I used it with Bell for about a year before I realised I had free cable in the house. They forgot to filter it out when they installed my high speed. I was using the USB UIRT to change the channels on the Bell receiver. I would say about once a month the receiver would go the wrong channel, not a software issue though, more of an IR thing. Every once in a while the receiver would lose the signal or something and the only way to leave the screen was to push up or down on the remote. Then I'd have to bring out the Bell remote to leave the screen.

None of these issues were GBPVR related, but they did happen. That said they were very minor, I did use it for over a year.

Yes I have 3 Bell ExpressVu recievers and have one dedicated to my GBPVR. I just bought a Wintv PVR150 with the IR blaster. It works great to switch the 2700 & 3100 bell expressvu receiver.
