firedtv-s/ci signal probs

Hey guys,
am really impressed with this program, and have built a pretty cool project in which I am using it. Only prob I seem to be having at the moment is that when I autotune my firedtv-s I get no signal, so find no channels. The only strange thing here is that if I watch something in MyTheatre, then close Mytheatre, open the config for gbpvr, and autotune my card, it has the correct signal strength for say, 20 minutes or so, and finds plenty of channels. Its almost as if gbpvr can't wake up my card!!
Has anyone else had this issue.

ok, i have downloaded the xp hotfixes for firewire and for BDA, and I now get reception on the card. But same as before, it only scans half the frequencies and the card kinda dies, and the scan finds no more channels. hmmmm. Any ideas guys

scratch that, i have exactly the same problems as originally, it just keeps coming on and off, its really odd. There must be others with this card that can help me. pretty please

Yeah, its strange - I've always had problems like this with my FireDTV-S device. I'm not sure why. I do the exact same thing for every device, but the tuning on the FireDTV-S is very problematic for me.
