Will two Nova-T USB2 devices work with GBPVR? I have just received budgetary approval from my wife for a second tuner and want to make sure that it will happily coexist with my existing tuner.
Any hints and tips on dual tuner setup are welcome; I am currently using the DVB EPG and the Cyberlink MUX and it works far better than our Sky+ box.

I dont know. GB-PVR will support it if the drivers do. The PCI Nova-T drivers support multiple devices in the one machine, so there is a good chance the USB2 drivers will also.

Dual Nova-t-USB2s do work, but make sure that you have enough power to support both of them. You may need to invest in a mains powered USB 2.0 hub (and not a Belkin one).

Cheers - I have had problems with Belkin hubs before so will stay well clear! I am just upgrading my machine with some extra RAM and getting another couple of MVPs so the second tuiner may need to wait a month or two now but at least I know what to get now and look out for a bargain!

Sorry to drag this up again but....

If i do have 2 of these how transparent is it when using. If i try and watch live tv and be recording something else at the same time will gbpvr just know to use the 2nd tuner?

I assume i just add a 2nd capture source, same channels as the first?
