Live TV Function

I am using wintv pvr 150MCE

and i found that there is a delay , around 1-2s, on live tv , compare with traditional TV set

However, when i turn live tv preview disable, gbpvr will say it will run in timeshift mode

and the delay will become worse..

it is a bug of gbpvr, isn't it?

also, how can i config on gbpvr for making live tv less and less delay (i think that perfect solution is no delay..)???

All PVR software like GB-PVR introduce some delays like these. Its not a bug.

With live preview mode, and deinterlacing set to 'encoder pass-through', the delay will be slightly less than a second. This is what most people use.

With live preview mode, and deinterlacing set to 'none', the delay will is almost removed (about 100ms), but then the picture produced is interlaced.

With timeshift mode, the delay is somewhere between 3 - 5 seconds.
