Will the source be released for GBRecord since you don't maintain it anymore?

I'm perfectly happy with GBRecord as it is now, but there is one thing that I would like to add to it and that is the possibility to record 24/7. I would like to start gbrecord like this:

gbrecord -minutes:forever -breaktime:30 (minutes) -startr:filename-yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm.mpg

breaktime is how long it should run before creating a new file
yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm should be added to the filename based on breaktime
(Also the best would be if it can adjust to the clock, so that if you start at 13.53 with 30 minutes breaktime it will break first at 14.00 and then every 30 minutes.

What do you think - any chance?
