I've got some .M4A files which are AAC-encoded audio, ripped from CD by iTunes. With FFdshow they play fine in Windows Media Player, and sort-of OK in GBPVR, but they stutter every time a key is pressed. Playing them in the "My Music" plugin, they sounded awful until I turned off the big time-display that updates every second, then they seem to play ok until I press any key. In the built-in Music Library they seem to play ok, but stutter whenever a key is pressed too. Using GraphEdit it looks like they are uing FFdshow as the audio decoder, so I tried both 'realaac' and 'libfaad2' settings for AAC decoding in FFdshow, but it makes no difference.
I'm not sure if this is something GBPVR can do anything about, it may be purely internal to FFdshow, I don't know enough about DirectShow to say.
The stutter/jump appears to be caused whenever the display is updated, I guess.
Any ideas (Sub?)??
