Hic-ups every 30 secs

The reason I want to know if it is really thirty second is because I do see a small spike on my recording service when I'm in timeshift mode - it doesnt cause any hiccup I can see, but its not every 30 seconds. It more like every 22 seconds, which is quite different from 22 seconds.

Any importantly, it doesnt seem to coincide with with the RenewLease messages which do occur in the logs every thirty seconds.

I would like to have some more opinions as to whether it is thirty seconds, and if it coincides with the RenewLease messages in your logs.

I think we might be counting as it starts to incline... .. and the 30seconds is the peak...?lemme try counting again..

I can't do the test right now because I've been working non-stop for several days trying to make a deadline - I starting to forget what TV is. But if you don't get any precise measurements from others I'll be able to do so in a couple of days.

That said, I did time it with my watch the last time I was watching TV timeshifted, and it occurred 30 seconds after starting and repeated precisely (as my watch could gauge) every 30 seconds thereafter. It wasn't 28 seconds, or 32... it was every 30 seconds.

Same here. 30 seconds every time. Used stopwatch and watched cpu spikes for a few minutes.

I counted 28 seconds - because my comp runs around 50% normally... (dunno why) and at a spike it hits 100% for 2seconds-
Most likely it lasts 2 seconds for me.. because my comps only 2.0ghz or something.. i dunno
Each square block is about 5 seconds.. i believe

Shows currently record now... no spikes - just normal 32-57% cpu running's..like watching tv.. if i watch it as its recording by using the watch the recording thing..cpu barely runs 2%-5% if im not watching while it records ... both have no spikes..
Im surpised... if i watch it .. even no matter how far it is while its a scheduled record ( i scheduled it 1 minute before it aired hehe) It has no spikes.... you'd think itd be the same thing as timeshift mode but it isnt....
