view button in menus

sub could you add a button in most menus to change the view, and also put this in the config file (i preffer the details view (ctrl-b) to the standard but its annoying having to do this every time).

a button like the one in xbmc would look nice.

i would be really nice (dont expect this to be around for ages if ever, but nice) if the folder preference was remembered so some directories are detailed view and some thumbnails (if not set use users default setting)

I've never seen xbmc.

You can currently use the option in the config app to determine if it shows icon or details view in the music and media libraries. Obvioulsy this global. I may look at remembering directory settings in the future, but it comes under the "nice to have, but plenty of other things to be done before it" category.

yeah it can wait, not a biggy.
you should really check out some screenshots of xbmc, its the best media centre program out there (obiviously cant do tv in so not pvr, but has the best setup for video playback, music playback (still not good enough for dvd))

check out this project mayhem xbmc skin, which is probably the best skin for xbmc, shows off all the features.

i have another wish, you said that in the future you were going to add my tv (diff name probably) with tv,guide,search etc grouped together. could you also add the ability to add another guide (or multiple) that arent available to be tuned in (like sky digital tv in nz) it would just be nice to be able to see whats on sky (have sky digital throughout house and the sky digital thingy isnt in my room:angry: ). at moment i just have a few sky channels setup on higher channel numbers, but this can get annoying.
this can wait obiviously more important features out there, just nice to have.

oh and can you make the mouse (as an option in config) have a blank cursor, the mouse pointer keeps showing up then dissappear on my tv out, its centered since i dont use a mouse (if i did have a mouse hooked up i could just move it offscreen but that would get annoying)
