recording notification in taskbar

It would be good to have a notification of a recording occuring in the taskbar, with the option of seeing the next scheduled recordings when you hover your mouse over it..
what do you think ??
I have been opening the app and going to the recordings page to check to make sure they are occuring.

I've been thinking about this post, and how exactly would this work for users of the PVR350 card (for example) that won't be watching our desktops. Perhaps some sort of recording indicator through the 350's TV-Out somehow, so long as it doesn't also get recorded.

I actually think both of these suggestions serve different puposes, and both are worth having.
