Showanalyzer

Having a problem getting Showanalyzer to work. I installed showanalyzer and changed my GBPVR configuration to: Commercial Detection: Showanalyzer and clicked on the box to run during recording. I requested a temporary key from the showanalyzer web site and entered it to get a successfull registration. I then recorded a 1/2 hour show and watched it after. The commercials were still there. Am I missing something?

I think only paid up users of SA can run it whilst recording. Try setting it to run after the recording.

Thanks Sub I'll give that a try. Is there anything else you have to do to get it working though? Showanalyzer created its own directory and stuff. Do you have to copy .dll files over to the GBPVR plugin directory or anything? Is the Showanalyzer program suppose to be resident in memory or does GBPVR call it up somehow?

No, you shouldnt have to do anything else. GB-PVR knows where to find SA on disk, and just runs it in the background when it needs to.

SA just marks the commercials, it doesn't remove them. You have to use something like VideoRedo to actually remove the commercials.
