Multiplexer filter issue

So I was having issues with 0 byte recordings and discovered that I didn't have a multiplexer filter installed.

I can still watch Live Tv but is this what is causing the 0 byte recordings?

Hauppauge 350, 3400+ AMD Sempron Processor, 256 Mb, Windows XP.

Yes, if you dont have a multiplexer, it'll probably result in zero byte recordings. Either install a multiplexer or try switching to the Microsoft DVR-MS mux (assuming you're running XP SP1 or higher).

You can change the mux setting on the 'misc' tab of the config app.

There are plenty of download links in old posts - use the forums search feature to search for 'download Cyberlink mux' or something similar
