Hi, just got home and checked the output on the MX4 (attached).

It seems it has 9 pins, not the 4 I thought it did have. The cable I thought had 7 pins, actually has 4, so they did send the correct cable (I apologise to them in their absence!).

has anyone any idea what this is?

I forgot about the 9 pin VIVO! Not seen one of these for ages. I'm suprised the card didn't come bundled with an adaptor. If not you should be able to pick one up without much trouble.

Hi, thanks for the replies.

At last!!! I now know what it is!! - I've had this card for a while and had no idea.

I was given this card some time ago by a colleage, and I assume he has lost the cable, as he didn't mention it when he gave it to me, and we have since lost touch.

I have tried ebay (as it seems to be the place to get slightly obscure things), and I can't find a cable to fit, or even an adapter.

Is there an on-line shop that you guys could recommend - sorry for becoming a nuisence.

Just wanted to check you were in the UK. It's possible I might have one somewhere in my box of 10 million cables at home. I've bought and sold so many graphics cards over the years it's likely i'll have something. I'll check tonight and let you know. If so i'll PM you and will put it in the post.

Failing that, a quick ebay search for VIVO turned up a couple of cables at good prices

wow - that would be fantastic.

Although, I must say, I didn't realise how cheap the MVP's were - I'm thinking I might get one of those instead of using the TV-Out. If the wife lets me, of course ;-)

It's worth getting an MVP anyway, I've had one in the bedroom for a couple of months and while it's a bit fiddly to set up and it has its 'moments', it's the coolest thing i've bought in ages...the image quality is superb and kinda feels like magic everytime you turn it on and GBPVR pops up lol
