MyVideos/MyDVD batch process

Is there a way that MyDVD can be run as a batch job external to the gbpvr shell?

I have both convert.bat and dvdburn.bat working fine when called from gbpvr but I notice that there is a step between them where the application code invokes DVDAuthor (with some parameters unknown to the user). Also, I don't know how demux.ajb gets created at the beginning. I'd like to be able to combine it all together into a single batch job.

My objective is to be able to process recordings (all the way to producing an iso file) against a file list and to schedule it at will. I looked into MyVideosDemuxing but it seems to process all recordings, whereas I want only selected ones, and its demuxed output still needs to be processed (one by one, while you wait to trigger the next one) from the MyDVD screen (I can't just run dvdburn.bat at that point, I imagine).

dvdauthor is run internally, since its required, and my vids creates a .xml file for this.

also the demux.ajb file is created by my vids before convert.bat is called for each file.

so the short of it is, no it cant be run all as a seperate .bat file, unless you write your own app to do the dvdauthor stuff and create the .xml and .ajb files.

Is there any way you could let me know the details of the parms passed to dvdauthor and the requirements for building the .xml and .ajb files? Or could you point me to the code that does this (I'm not asking for a spec here - you've probably got better things to do ). If I built a small app to do this, maybe it might be useful for a future release of MyVideos. There must be other folks out there who would like to process multiple selected recordings at will.

just google for a dvdauthor guide, you'll be able to find one easily, and the demux.ajb file is just the standard demux.ajb file pva generates with one altered line (just open it up in notepad and you'll see the line).
