The funny thing is, it use to have mame support in the first few releases. I removed this because it only worked on the PC monitor, and wasn't ever going to work with the MVP, XCard or PVR350. I prefer the core functionality to be consistant across the various clients.
Its not as simple as that. The XCard/MVP/PVR350 were designed for playing video. I have managed to force the GB-PVR user interface onto them, but it wouldn't work for games. These devices can only display a couple of frames a second, and the mame software would need to be changed to be capable of interacting with this special hardware.
I would love to see this so I can play classic games in my living room. I have S-video out, but I'm going to upgrade my video card with one that has DVI output because I can get a DVI-HDMI cable so I get a true digital picture on my HDTV. I know mythtv has this option, but I don't feel like running linux.
