High I'm runnning a Media MVP and some Divx and SVCDs are formatted wrong on my screen. I've read about the aspect ratio settings but they say they don't work until you press F7?!?? how do you do this via the Media MVP? will I have to map a key on the remote? Im a little unsure as what to do here to get it to work . Currently I have a large black box at the bottom of the screen on play back and most of the image is squashed at the top.

I know I keep asking noddy question im just still getting to grips with everything.

I don't believe that the F7 aspect ratio option works when using the MVP. If it does then i'll happily be corrected.

I've seen the behaviour that you describe, it's a little frustrating as the files play back fine on a PC.

I don't know if it works, I'd like it to as well. It is not automatically assigned to the MVP remote, least it does not show in the WIKI like that. If it is usable on the MVP you can customize your remote buttons and assign F7 to something.. Look in the wiki --> http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Quick...dReference

let us know how/if it works... Course someone may answer before than that knows.
