Sub, can we make something on recommended drivers a sticky? This seems to keep coming up.

Read some more of the win-tv driver postings, and you'll see what that's not practical. The truth seems to be no two people have the same driver experience. In fact, one person can get two different experiences using the same drivers.

What would be more practical is making issues relating to drivers sticky, and the advice to try new ones available. From there, it's between you, the card, and the manufacturer.

quick question, Whyen running HWClear to remove my PVR 500 drivers, will it also remove my 2 PVR 250 drivers? Just want to know what I'm getting myself into.

Someone here may know, but it's a good one to take over to that fourm, since the some of the people who write those apps and drivers are there.

no i get no sound during live tv, i get sound from everything else though

The subject was no sound on some recordings. If you have no sound on live tv, you're probably not getting the right people reading this.

i reinstalled the drivers, and now i get no sound on live tv, but sound works for other things.

The driver I recommended has worked well for people with the PVR-150 and PVR-150MCE. What card do you have?

Maybe Sub can look at your logs. I am using those drivers. My audio is fine with live tv on my MVP, and my PVR computer.
Does the audio work OK for WinTV?

Missing audio is pretty common on PVR150's, particularly so on the NTSC models for some reason. All I can really suggest is try some different drivers and hopefully you'll find some that work well for you.
