Hello there,

I am building an XP based media centre from a few bits I have lying around. The two DVB cards I have are a Nova-T and an Aver 771. Both are DVB-T cards.

The Nova works lovely in gbpvr. The Aver of course does not as there is no bda driver support. As both cards are in the same machine I am not sure what to do. Do I....

1. Sell the aver card on ebay, and get another nova card
2. wait for a bda driver to become available

I have no idea what the situation is with bda - so any suggestions much appreciated )

thanks,
john

My understanding is that AverMedia are a bit ungenerous with their BDA support. You could be waiting a long time....

Good decision. I wouldn't hold by breath waiting for AverMedia.

If you're in the UK then you can't beat PCWorld online. Was £39.99 last time I checked. Also Savastore have them around the same price.
