pBS Wrote:install xdvd...if you are going to use VLC then you need to d/l and install it first..then check batch files playmvpdvd.bat, playmvpdvdfiles.bat, playmvpdvdiso.bat to make sure the vlc.exe path is correct for your install [i think it defaults to c:\program files\videolan\vlc.exe so if you used defaults to install vlc you should be fine]
then check the skin settings.xml file and adjust,it's in xdvd folder in your skin,if not there, copy folder from blue skin...
once those initial adjustments are done you're in biddness..
..
Let's see if I am on the right track. I downloaded VLC(said I had to in the XDVD wiki). It installed in c:\program files\videolan\vlc.exe --do I need to do anything with GBPVR to make it work with VLC or is installing it enough? Can you elaborate on "check batch files"?
I found my skin settings--My DVD drive is D and video files all end up on E drive--what do I change, and how?? I tried to type in and it did nothing:
- <settings>
<TempFile>c:\dvd.mpg</TempFile>
<PlayMode mode="SIZE" value="150" />
<DVDDrive>f</DVDDrive>
<BaseFileDirectory>c:\</BaseFileDirectory>
<MountDVDDrive>g</MountDVDDrive>
<ForceMvpMode>true</ForceMvpMode>
</settings>
I really appreciate the help--thanks!
