Live TV Audio Delay

Hi,

I have an audio delay if I am watching Live TV.
I have ATI 550, Cyberlink Audio/Video decoder, Realtek AC97 onboard sound chip with the latest Realtek driver. The delay is around 0.5-1 sec, and permanent.

What can be the problem?

Only during LiveTV, not timeshift?

No timeshift, but I did not try 'none' deinterlacing yet.
But is has to delay video, if I am thinking logical.

Well, I just found in another thread (I searched the forum for 'audio sync live') that it solved your problem on someone else's computer. Thought it might be worth trying.

With timeshift it works.
BTW I have tried with PowerC. 4 trial, it has a feature to switch off timeshift. The audio delay exist there also without timeshift. Than it is a problem of ATI driver.

If you enable live preview mode, and set the deinterlacing to 'encoder pass through' does it help?

Now I have set 'encoder pass through' and installed the new driver, and there is no delay anymore in live preview. I do not know which one really help.
