Software MVP

Hi

Really easy one this, is there a software version of the MVP, in theory this should be really easy as these boxes are so simple, only have an MPEG2 decoder.

Something i can run on a PC, maybe a little setup to tell it where to look for the MVP server then it pulls all the data from the server like the MVP hardware units.

It isnt as simple as you might think.

A guy started a project that does this in the past, but he left and it was never finished. If you search the forums, you should be able to find the alpha version of it. Playing any video will make it crash pretty quickly though.
