I would like it if pressing the up arrow key on the remote while the TVGuide button is highlighted makes the bottom button ("exit&quotWink highlighted and vice versa.  In other words I would like to be able to go from the top of the list to the bottom by pressing the up arrow, rather than having to press the down arrow several times, and vice versa.

Also, if you add too many plugins, the buttons run off the bottom of the screen. Would be helpful if you could have it automatically start a second row.

You have a fantastic product.  Thanks for all your work.

Question:  I have a Win-DTV card.  Would you be interested in letting you borrow it to make GBPVR compatible with this card?  I think having DTV available would be a great addition to GBPVR.  I think it would make GBPVR about the only PVR software that could make use of that card.

I'd take you up on your offer, but we dont get any signals here in New Zealand that is compatible with the Win-DTV card. Thanks anyway.

If I'm not mistaken, that card can also do analog signal as well as HD, can't it? If so, you could certainly play with the card and get it working, at least in analog mode (in theory!Wink.

I agree with the first paragraph, that would be nice.

I've never put that many plugins on my main menu so I've never seen it run off the screen [Image: tounge.gif]

I raised the too many buttons issue previously, its not just that they run off the bottom, but they also cover the nice context info that you normally see when hovered over a button. Perhaps this could be switched to the top?

I have all standard buttons except for the Music library (replaced by Jukebox 5, plus disk space plugin, weather, and one other which escapes me. I wouldn't want to not use any of these as they are good plugins.

I have taken a quick look at the skins (knowing nothing about how they might work), but I will probably hold off trying to edit/modify them unless sub doesn't want to address it?

I imagine it might be on the list already...?

(he says hopefully)

It does do analog as well, but GBPVR won't even launch with this card installed.  I forget the error message it gives.  I am using a WINTV-250 card in it's place.

Another thing I noticed as I play with this a little more was that the channels do the same thing.  If I am scanning channels or the mini-guide and I hit the last channel, I either have to arrow back down to get to the first channel, or enter in the channel number.  Would be nice if it just looped back.  Seems like an easy (albeit small) issue to take care of.

I think there are two annoyances that are going to keep this from being 100% wife accepted.  First is that the channel changing is slow - about a 3 second delay when switching channels.  The crappy little software that Hauppauge provides with their card does not do this, so I'm assuming it is in the GBPVR coding.  Second is that the image that the card produces looks a bit pixelated, or "digital".  This looks to be an issue with the card performance itself, not the GBPVR software.  I wonder if others see this as a problem on their 250's?

By the way, the DVD option on the latest version is great.  It isn't quite working correctly for me yet, but I think it has to do with the configuration setup.  I also like the option of making a user-defined custom button.  Great idea!  I have a button that opens a web browser to surf the net.

If it does work in analog mode then perhaps someday it can/will be supported. As sub has already mentioned he would have no way to test the HD signals, but having the card itself supported would be a major step up to those that have either the Hauppauge D or HD card.
