I've had a spare system lying around (Athlon XP 2400+, 512 RAM, FX5200, 80gig), and was considering setting it up as a potential dedicated DVR.

While I have a Hauppauge PVR-150 in my "work" system, and a Sapphire Theatrix 550Pro in my current MCE box, the only tv tuner card I have to spare is an ASUS TV FM 7133.

I used the ASUS card for quite a while, along with WinDVR 3, before I picked up the Hauppauge, and found it adequate for my needs at the time.

My question is, will GB-PVR function with this card?

If not, is there any software (preferably free) that would function similar to GB-PVR that anyone can recommend?

It would work with either the PVR150 or 550 Pro, but not the ASUS TV FM 7133.

Thanks for the quick response.
A shame, though. :-(

If it's permitted here, though, can anyone recommend any other decent software (free or otherwise) that might be suitable for this setup?

We're a pretty friendly bunch so i dont think its against the rules, but you may get a more comprehensive answer over at Build Your Own PVRs Forum. They have a more general PVR outlook rather than focusing on GBPVR so you may find someone who is already using your card with other PVR software.
